As a beloved street food from Penang, Asam Laksa is a unique Malaysian noodle soup known for its bold, tangy flavour. Made with tamarind-sour fish broth, rice noodles, shredded mackerel, and topped with fresh herbs, cucumber, pineapple, torch ginger flower, and a spoonful of thick prawn paste, it’s a vibrant dish that perfectly balances sour, spicy, and savory notes.
